I'm Danielle Carnegie, the founder of Studio Alba. Originally from Scotland, I trained in interior design at the University of Dundee, and have spent more than fifteen years in the industry, the last decade of it here on the Costa del Sol, working across residential and commercial projects in both English and Spanish. At Studio Alba, we take on a deliberately limited number of projects each year, it's what allows every client to get a properly personal, responsive service from the first phone call through to the final styling touch.
Every client you introduce becomes an extension of your own business as much as ours. How we communicate, how carefully we handle the details, and how the whole experience feels reflects directly on you, so we take that responsibility seriously. Quite a few of our clients come back to us for a second home or a later project, which says more about the trust we build than anything we could tell you ourselves, and it's exactly the kind of relationship we're aiming to build with you too.
What we bring
Our service covers the whole journey, from space planning and concept design through to lighting plans, bespoke carpentry drawings and detailed contractor packages, then procurement and installation once everything's approved. Over a decade working on the coast has given us a trusted network of tradespeople, suppliers and craftsmen we go back to again and again, so clients get proven quality rather than a gamble on someone new. Clients get regular updates and one clear point of contact throughout, wherever they happen to be, right through to the day we hand over a finished, styled home.
Supporting your clients, start to finish
Before they buy, we can walk a property with them, talk through renovation ideas or floorplan changes, and give early cost guidance, helping them see the potential in a space rather than just its four walls.
Before they move in, we handle everything from furniture and lighting through to the final installation, so the home is ready and finished before the client ever sets foot in it.
After completion, we're still there for styling updates, seasonal changes or getting a holiday home ready for guests. We like to stay involved long after the handover, not disappear the moment the keys are given over.
