Commercial Interior Design
From boutique hotels and restaurants to offices and retail, the right interior design shapes how people feel the moment they walk in, and how long they stay, how much they spend, and whether they come back.
We work with business owners across Sotogrande, Marbella, Gibraltar and the Costa del Sol who understand that design is an investment, not a cost. Our job is to create spaces that are distinctive, functional and built to perform, for your customers, your team and your brand.
How we work with you
Understanding your business
We start by getting to know your business properly, not just what you do, but who your customers are, how your team works, and what you want people to feel the moment they walk in. The more we understand at this stage, the more considered everything that follows.
Strategy before design
Before we put anything on paper, we develop a clear design approach around your business objectives. That means thinking carefully about layout and flow, how people move through the space and how that movement works for you commercially, as well as how the finished space will communicate your brand before anyone's spoken a word. Function comes first. Aesthetics follow from it.
Design and build
Once the approach is agreed, we develop detailed plans, 3D visuals and material selections so you can see exactly where the project is going before anything's committed to. We then manage everything through to installation, coordinating suppliers, trades and deliveries while keeping disruption to your business to a minimum. We specify materials and finishes with longevity in mind too, a space that holds up as well in three years as it does on opening day is the aim, not just something that photographs well.
Handover
We're there for the final installation and stay available afterwards to make sure everything is working exactly as it should. When we hand it over, it's finished and ready.
Why choose Studio Alba?
We're based here on the Costa del Sol and have spent over a decade working across Sotogrande, Marbella and the surrounding area. We understand this market, the mix of local and international clientele, the seasonal rhythms, and what makes a space genuinely work here rather than just look good in photographs.
We've built relationships with the best local suppliers and craftspeople over years of working in the region, which means we can deliver a high standard of finish without the delays and miscommunications that come with working through unfamiliar networks.
If you'd like to talk through a project, we're happy to have an initial conversation with no obligation.
