Danielle Carnegie
Danielle Carnegie is the founder and lead designer behind Studio Alba. Growing up in Central Scotland gave her a deep appreciation for quality materials and honest craftsmanship, values that still shape every project she takes on.
Nearly a decade ago, she moved to Marbella - and never left. Since then, she has built a practice working on bespoke residential and commercial projects across Sotogrande, the Costa del Sol, Gibraltar and the UK.
With a degree in Interior Design from the University of Dundee and experience across both markets, her approach is distinctive, grounded and material-led, but warm and liveable. Never overdone.
As an expat herself, she understands the particular challenge of making a new place feel like home. She designs spaces that are not just beautiful but genuinely liveable: tailored to how you actually use them, finished with care, and built to last.
Studio Alba
Studio Alba is a boutique interior design studio based in Marbella, delivering bespoke residential and commercial projects across Europe. The name carries a dual meaning — Alba is the Gaelic word for Scotland, honouring Danielle's roots, and means "dawn" in Spanish, reflecting the studio's approach to each project: a fresh perspective, brought to life with intention.
The studio works with a trusted network of craftspeople, contractors and specialist consultants to deliver projects from initial concept through to final installation — a complete, considered service from beginning to end.
